Job Summary
To support a dynamic IT environment, the full-time salaried Cloud Engineering Manager will engineer storage solutions, administer AWS infrastructure, and manage resource utilization while permitting telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Engineer and administer AWS infrastructure, including compute, network, and storage resources
- Develop scripts for system configurations and deploy security patches and upgrades
- Manage disaster recovery plans and respond to critical production issues to maintain business continuity
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related IT field
- Five years of experience in software engineering or a related occupation
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google
- Experience with system administration on RedHat, Linux, and Unix
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools like Nagios, Splunk, or Datadog
