Cloud Migration Engineer
Job Summary
To support cloud migration initiatives, the full-time permanent Cloud Migration Engineer will manage workload migrations, perform source discovery, and troubleshoot migration jobs while working remotely within the US/Canada time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Run workload migrations following established runbooks and delivery playbooks
- Monitor active migration jobs, troubleshoot failures, and escalate blockers to the Delivery Lead
- Record delivery steps and execution results for each client engagement
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in IT, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server administration
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Foundational understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Basic familiarity with networking concepts and storage
