Cloud Migration Engineer
Job Summary
Overseeing the technical delivery of managed migration engagements, the full-time Senior Cloud Migration Engineer will direct delivery engineers, convert customer needs into migration blueprints, and take ownership of high-risk migrations while working remotely in the EST time zone.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the technical delivery and quality of migration projects across the region
- Collaborate with project managers on scope, timeline, and risk management during migrations
- Develop and implement executable migration blueprints and runbooks based on client needs
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or migration delivery in senior or lead roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud migrations
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and storage
- Experience with enterprise-scale migration tooling and orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
