Cloud Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support the US Department of the Treasury's enterprise cloud development effort, the full-time Cloud Network Engineer will manage the configuration, installation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco devices, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support network components within cloud platforms, ensuring adherence to security best practices
- Monitor network performance and system availability, providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting as needed
- Collaborate with network administrators to manage and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and VPN concentrators in cloud environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, OCI, and GCP
- Strong experience with Terraform and AWS Security group deployment
- Technical knowledge of TCP/IP networks and standards, including experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
