Cloud Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on Site Reliability Engineering for the JustFOIA SaaS platform, the remote Cloud Operations Engineer will manage monitoring, incident response, and automation to enhance platform reliability and operational maturity in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational reporting across application, database, and infrastructure tiers
- Improve platform reliability, availability, performance, and scalability while leading incident triage and root cause analysis
- Develop automation to reduce repetitive tasks and enhance Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD processes
Required qualifications
- Six or more years of overall IT experience
- Three or more years of site reliability engineering experience for production SaaS workloads in a public cloud
- Demonstrated ownership of the full reliability cycle, including incident response and root cause analysis
- Experience supporting customer-facing, business-critical applications
- Hands-on experience with automation scripting in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages
