Cloud Operations Manager
Job Summary
Leading enterprise-scale Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services for a large Defense Industrial Base customer, the full-time remote Principal Cloud Operations Manager will oversee operational performance across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, manage a multidisciplinary team, and ensure successful service transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end operational performance and service outcomes across cloud platforms
- Lead and develop a growing team of engineers and support professionals to meet organizational needs
- Establish a data-driven operational model using SLAs, KPIs, and incident trends to drive performance improvements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Documented responsibility for an enterprise environment of at least 10,000 users
- Proven leadership of a technical organization with approximately 50+ staff members
- Experience transitioning new technology services into production O&M environments
- Executive-level customer experience with the ability to anticipate customer needs
