Cloud Platform Architect

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Cloud Platform Architect, the successful candidate will serve as a senior technical leader, defining cloud architecture, building infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi or AWS CDK, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure alignment between design and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve cloud-native architecture patterns and standards for enterprise solutions on AWS
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, prototyping cloud infrastructure for new initiatives and ensuring architectural fidelity during delivery
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to teams, engaging with stakeholders to translate workload requirements into cloud architecture recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Seven or more years of experience in cloud architecture or engineering, specifically with enterprise-scale AWS solutions
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Pulumi or AWS CDK
• Expert knowledge of AWS cloud technologies, including compute, networking, storage, and security services
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certifications preferred
