Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage the design, operation, and optimization of cloud environments while automating infrastructure and supporting software delivery across engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code and scripting languages
- Own the deployment and lifecycle management of systems like Kubernetes clusters and internal developer platforms
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive root-cause analysis for long-term solutions
Required qualifications
- 4-8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related infrastructure roles
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes management in production environments
- Familiarity with at least one systems programming language (Golang) and one scripting language (Python, Bash)
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
