Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Cloud Platform Engineer will design and implement cloud governance across AWS and GCP while building reusable infrastructure and self-service capabilities in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud governance, including identity, account organization, and access controls
- Build reusable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable safe and consistent provisioning
- Create self-service capabilities that reduce friction and empower engineers to move quickly
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud governance, platform engineering, and/or operations with production systems
- Experience with significant migrations, such as rearchitecting AWS account topology or introducing IaC
- Deep knowledge in AWS services, IAM/SSO, and familiarity with GCP
- Proficiency in software engineering, particularly in languages like Go or Rust
- Comfort with treating infrastructure as software and experience with IaC and automation
