Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Manager Cloud & Platform Engineer will oversee GCP architecture, manage cloud operations, and ensure efficient delivery of cloud services in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to GCP architecture and manage cloud infrastructure, including IAM, networking, and secure provisioning
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore cloud engineers while managing project priorities and vendor relationships
- Implement FinOps practices for budget management and resource optimization across cloud platforms
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud environments, including AWS
- Proven leadership skills in managing engineering teams and outsourced resources
- Strong knowledge of GCP services such as GKE, Compute Engine, and Cloud SQL
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation scripting
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
