Cloud Platform Lead Consultant

Job Summary

Designing, building, deploying, and operating cloud-native data infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform, the full-time Cloud Platform Lead Consultant will manage data streaming and database platforms to ensure high availability and performance in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize data streaming infrastructure using Amazon MSK (Kafka) or Google Pub/Sub for real-time and batch data pipelines
• Design, deploy, and manage highly available database and caching platforms, including PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift, across multi-cloud environments
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Python to enable secure deployments

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering or infrastructure experience, with at least 2 years in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Hands-on experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Production experience with data streaming platforms, particularly Apache Kafka and its components
• Strong Python and Shell scripting skills for automation and operational solutions
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CI/CD practices in production environments
