Cloud Security Analyst II

Job Summary

Supporting a Herndon, Virginia-based team remotely, the full-time salaried Cloud Security Analyst II will develop and enhance security monitoring solutions, monitor potential security incidents, and implement endpoint security policies to protect customer data in cloud-based infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve system and network security monitoring capabilities and procedures
• Monitor and triage potential security incidents, tuning sensors to reduce false positives
• Support operational threat analysis and incident response activities based on log correlation and endpoint security tools

Required qualifications

• 4-year degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• 2+ years of cyber security or cloud experience, preferably in a Security Operations Center
• Experience with Unix, Linux, or Windows operating systems
• Understanding of common enterprise applications and security technologies
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust and DoD security clearance
