Cloud Security Architect
Job Summary
To support a large Federal Government client, the full-time Cloud Security Architect will design and assess secure cloud architectures, translate cybersecurity requirements into system designs, and conduct architecture reviews, all while working remotely with occasional travel for stakeholder engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Design and assess secure cloud architectures and solutions
- Translate FedRAMP, RMF, and cybersecurity requirements into system and application designs
- Conduct architecture reviews to identify threats, attack paths, control gaps, and residual risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity or Information Systems
- Minimum of 10 years of Information Security experience, with at least 5 years in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required VA background investigation/suitability determination
- Expertise in Federal cloud security architecture and engineering
- Experience with FedRAMP/RMF and Federal A&A/ATO activities
