Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled professional, the remote Cloud Security Engineer II will design, implement, and support cloud and enterprise security solutions, focusing on safeguarding critical infrastructure and applications while collaborating with IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud environments
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in the cloud
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information/Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in cloud security with knowledge of MFA, DLP, Email Security, and Endpoint Security
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software
• Willingness to pursue relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
