Cloud Security Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage and secure cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, and infrastructure-as-code pipelines while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and secure cloud infrastructure and applications, focusing on Azure
- Secure containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments, including network policy and runtime protection
- Own and enhance cloud security posture management, continuously identifying and remediating misconfigurations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related role
- Deep hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure and applications, preferably in Azure
- Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) and securing containerized workloads
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and compliance frameworks (HITRUST, PCI DSS)
