Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To strengthen and automate security controls across cloud environments, the full-time Cloud Security Engineer will develop and operationalize policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego, focusing on creating reusable policy libraries and supporting Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain security policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego
• Create scalable, reusable policy libraries that translate cloud security requirements into automated controls
• Integrate Policy-as-Code and cloud security controls into infrastructure and CI/CD workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or security engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with OPA and Rego, including Policy-as-Code frameworks
• Experience applying automated security controls within public cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
