Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering with engineering teams, the full-time Cloud and DevOps Security Engineer will integrate security into cloud architecture and CI/CD pipelines while assessing and strengthening the security of cloud platforms in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security controls and policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development processes
• Assess and enhance the security of cloud platforms, identities, networks, and data protection controls
• Drive remediation efforts by investigating security findings and implementing corrective actions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, security engineering, or a related technical field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience securing Microsoft Azure environments and implementing security controls within engineering workflows
• Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture, including identity and networking
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform or Python
