Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To expand the scope of cloud security capabilities, the full-time Staff Engineer, Cloud Security will operate security tooling, lead cloud security posture management, and mentor team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate the Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), ensuring effective tuning and integration
• Lead cloud security posture management (CSPM) across AWS, defining standards and measuring adherence
• Drive improvements in identity and access management, focusing on least privilege and role design

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure, or software engineering with a focus on cloud security
• Deep hands-on experience securing AWS environments, including IAM and core security services
• Experience deploying and operating cloud security tooling such as CNAPP or CSPM platforms
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and at least one programming language for automation
• A track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives and influencing engineering priorities
