Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cloud security measures, the full-time Cloud Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud environments while collaborating with various teams to ensure secure business delivery in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain security controls and reference architectures for cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and container workloads
• Manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools, optimizing policies, validating findings, and coordinating remediation efforts
• Develop and maintain cloud security standards and procedures aligned with business and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in information security or cloud engineering, specifically with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with CSPM, cloud workload protection, and implementing cloud guardrails in enterprise environments
• Knowledge of cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response workflows
• Preferred certifications include CCSP, CISSP, or AWS/Azure security-related credentials
