Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a robust security function, the full-time remote Cloud Security Engineer will collaborate on hardening cloud native systems, CI/CD pipelines, and container infrastructure, while actively contributing to AI security initiatives at Jane.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to maturing cloud security posture management across cloud environments, focusing on actionable remediation workflows
• Implement CI/CD security integrations that enhance supply chain security and provide developers with actionable security outputs
• Collaborate with infrastructure and product teams to embed security into existing workflows, ensuring secure defaults are the easiest choice

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in AWS security, with proficiency in IAM, networking, compute, and storage
• Familiarity with CNAPP or CSPM tools such as Wiz or Prisma Cloud and their operationalization
• Experience in secrets detection and remediation, IaC hardening, or CI/CD pipeline security controls
• Understanding of Kubernetes or EKS security fundamentals, including RBAC hardening and network policies
• A systems thinker approach to security, capable of identifying root causes and preventing future issues
