Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure, the full-time Cloud Security Engineer will secure, administer, and improve corporate and program-specific technology environments while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities across corporate and program environments
• Design, administer, and secure Microsoft Azure infrastructure, managing virtual machines, networks, and identity services
• Serve as a technical resource for stakeholders, translating cybersecurity requirements into practical solutions and supporting proposal efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field
• Seven or more years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or systems engineering
• Hands-on experience administering and securing production Microsoft Azure environments
• Direct experience supporting federal RMF and ATO activities, including security documentation and compliance
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or higher at the time of hire, with the ability to obtain a government security clearance
