Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer for a remote, full-time position focused on designing and implementing secure cloud configurations across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), while providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to ensure robust and compliant cloud infrastructures for clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud security architectures, addressing security alerts from SIEM and other systems
- Respond to customer inquiries and create necessary documentation such as network and architecture diagrams
- Lead compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and conducting security assessments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
- 7-10 years of progressive cloud security experience
- 4+ years of experience securing and supporting cloud environments, particularly Azure and GCP
- 4+ years of experience managing security alerts and configuring SIEMs with scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Security certification such as CISSP is required
