Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance cloud security for a leading real estate technology platform, the full-time Senior Cloud Security Engineer will design and implement security measures for AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, focusing on writing code and infrastructure as code (IaC) while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS account structures, IAM roles, and network segmentation using Terraform and Go
• Secure Kubernetes environments by developing admission policies, RBAC, and runtime controls
• Build and tune cloud detections, integrating them with InfoSec's SIEM for incident response

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering, with at least 3 years focused on securing production cloud environments
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, VPC, KMS, and CloudTrail
• Proficient in production Kubernetes security practices such as RBAC and network policies
• Strong skills in Terraform or similar IaC tools, with a history of building reusable modules
• Experience writing production code, preferably in Go, with familiarity in Python or TypeScript
