Cloud Security Operations Lead

Job Summary

As a hands-on technical leader, the full-time Cloud Security Operations Lead will advance cloud detection and response capabilities across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, focusing on building reliable systems that protect cloud infrastructure and sensitive health data while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, deploy, and improve detections for complex cloud threats, including identity abuse and data exposure
• Drive proactive threat hunting and cloud asset discovery to identify visibility gaps across multi-cloud environments
• Own end-to-end telemetry pipelines for collecting and enriching cloud audit, network, and application logs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, site reliability engineering, or security operations with production cloud systems
• Deep expertise in securing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on IAM and cloud logging
• Hands-on experience with security detection logic and engineering security telemetry within an enterprise SIEM
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
