Job Summary
Leading Toptal's Cloud Services team, the full-time Practice Director will mentor solution architects, define architecture standards, and drive hybrid cloud and DevOps solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of solution architects while fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Define reference architectures and best practices for hybrid cloud and DevOps solutions, ensuring quality and scalability
- Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to assess client needs, shape proposals, and ensure successful implementation of solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in building and scaling hybrid cloud and DevOps service offerings
- Deep expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud architecture across major platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
