Cloud Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and operating high-scale distributed systems, the full-time remote Cloud Software Engineer will design telemetry ingestion and storage systems, ensure reliability and performance, and participate in incident resolution while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate distributed systems for high-scale telemetry processing and storage
- Own the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of telemetry pipelines and storage systems
- Participate in on-call rotation to resolve production incidents and implement root-cause fixes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language
- Experience with Kubernetes for service deployment and management
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tools like Terraform and Helm
- Production experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
