Cloud Software Engineer
Job Summary
The full-time remote Cloud Software Engineer will design, build, and operate distributed systems for telemetry ingestion and processing while ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-scale distributed systems for telemetry ingestion and storage
- Own the reliability, performance, capacity, and cost-efficiency of telemetry pipelines and storage systems
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents and implement root-cause fixes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language
- Experience with Kubernetes for building and operating services
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD
- Production experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
