Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing technology team, the full-time remote Principal, Cloud Solutions Architect will manage hands-on development across the full cloud technology stack, drive strategic architecture decisions, and serve as the primary technical interface to clients and leadership while ensuring the delivery of scalable and secure securitization platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and infrastructure to meet emerging business requirements while ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems
• Evaluate complex technology issues related to cloud infrastructure and apply engineering principles to ensure sound governance and operational practices
• Lead technical design discussions, establish engineering best practices, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in building large-scale software applications and at least 5 years in an AWS environment
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK/SAM) and building web applications, particularly with React
• Strong knowledge of Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python, along with experience in designing RESTful APIs and relational databases
• Familiarity with AI development tools and services, as well as experience with agile development methodologies
