Cloud Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the build and deployment systems in a growing 24/7 SaaS environment, the full-time Cloud Systems Engineer will manage continuous integration and delivery processes, automate workflows, and collaborate with various technology teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the engineering platform and CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
- Design, implement, and maintain application deployment configurations and workflows for Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
- Identify opportunities to enhance build and release cycles, improve quality, and increase the security of delivered software
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in Build and Release Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based technologies, preferably Azure and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Python
- Experience with deployment platforms like GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Argo CD, and Octopus Deploy
