Cloud Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To support national security systems, the full-time Cloud Threat Analyst will proactively hunt for threats, analyze intelligence sources, and develop advanced detection techniques, with remote flexibility and occasional onsite requirements in Hanover, MD.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting and continuously monitor for emerging threats across network infrastructure and cloud environments
• Collaborate with CSOC team members to respond to and investigate security incidents, performing in-depth forensic analysis
• Provide detailed reports and briefings on threat hunting activities and findings to senior management

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of system-level cybersecurity experience in roles such as Cyber Security Analyst or Incident Response
• Active Top-Secret Clearance, eligible for TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field, or equivalent combination of experience
• Must meet DoD 8140/8570.01-M IAM II or IAT Level II requirements with at least one relevant certification
• Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and basic understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
