Cloud Threat Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency program, the full-time Cloud Threat Analyst will proactively safeguard national security systems through threat hunting, advanced threat detection, and collaboration with CSOC team members, while working remotely with occasional onsite requirements in Hanover, MD.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting activities and analyze threat intelligence to identify emerging threats
• Develop and implement innovative threat detection techniques and perform in-depth forensic analysis of security incidents
• Provide detailed reports and briefings on threat hunting activities and findings to senior management

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of system-level cybersecurity experience in roles such as Cyber Security Analyst or Incident Response
• Active Top-Secret Clearance, eligible for TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field, or equivalent experience
• Must meet DoD 8140/8570.01-M IAM II or IAT Level II requirements with at least one relevant certification
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and experience with security monitoring tools
