CMS Implementation Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the technical implementation of a new GeoInfo website, the full-time contractor CMS Implementation Engineer will work remotely to configure CMS structures, manage content migrations, and ensure compliance with institutional standards using Drupal and Wagtail.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement responsive CMS page models and structured content types using Drupal and Wagtail
- Coordinate with technical stakeholders to align architecture decisions with compliance, accessibility, and security standards
- Lead technical testing and ensure the delivery of a secure, production-ready website populated with validated content
Required qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on CMS development and technical implementation experience
- Proficiency in Drupal and/or Wagtail, including relevant programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with content migration pipelines and digital asset migrations
- Knowledge of web QA, functional testing, and accessibility compliance
- Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and manage implementation sprints using project management tools
