COB Representative

Job Summary

To enhance member experiences, the full-time remote COB Representative will investigate potential recoveries for Coordination of Benefits through various communication methods and manage inquiries related to claims and eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify recovery opportunities and process COB claims for members with other insurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Review and resolve inquiries from internal customers regarding members' claims and eligibility updates
• Coordinate recoveries with other insurers and process Credit Balance claims and refund checks

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• At least 2-3 years of experience in coordination of benefits or related healthcare fields
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to maintain a stable and HIPAA-compliant remote workspace
• Excellent organizational skills
