Coding Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time hourly Coding Analyst will manage coding accuracy for hospital billing and ensure compliance with regulations while collaborating with clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assign appropriate codes for hospital billing documentation
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify documentation and coding issues

Required qualifications

• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT)
• Experience in hospital billing and coding
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
