Coding Compliance Educator

Job Summary

Providing coding, documentation, and compliance education remotely, the full-time Coding Compliance Educator will develop and deliver training to providers and clinical leadership, translating audit findings and regulatory guidance into practical education while responding to inquiries regarding coding and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver coding, documentation, and compliance education to providers and clinical leadership across assigned service lines
• Translate audit findings, coding trends, and regulatory changes into clear educational materials and guidance
• Respond to provider and clinical leadership questions regarding coding, documentation, billing, and compliance requirements in a timely and professional manner

Required qualifications

• Active coding credential such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, RHIT, RHIA, or comparable credential required
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional coding compliance auditing or provider education experience required
• Direct experience educating physicians or clinical leadership strongly preferred
• Experience researching and applying CMS and other authoritative coding and documentation guidance required
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, education, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
