Coding Compliance Educator

Job Summary

Providing coding, documentation, and compliance education to providers and clinical leadership, the full-time remote Coding Compliance Educator will develop educational materials, respond to inquiries, and analyze audit findings to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver coding and compliance education to providers and clinical leadership across assigned service lines
• Translate audit findings and regulatory changes into clear educational content and respond to provider inquiries
• Collaborate with Compliance Audit and clinical leadership to address coding concerns and support corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Active coding credential such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, RHIT, or RHIA required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coding compliance auditing or provider education
• Direct experience educating physicians or clinical leadership strongly preferred
• Experience researching and applying CMS coding and documentation guidance required
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, education, or related field preferred
