Job Summary
Managing coding services for assigned clients, the full-time Coding Manager will oversee operational management, ensure quality standards, and maintain client relationships in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, coders, and stakeholders while managing both onshore and offshore coding resources
- Monitor productivity and quality standards, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and contractual obligations
- Mentor and train coding staff, while developing and implementing coding services and operational improvements
Required qualifications
- AHIMA or AAPC credentials
- Five or more years of coding experience
- Three or more years of management experience in a remote environment
- Strong knowledge of coding and revenue cycle management services
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Windows products
