Coding Practice Services Manager

Job Summary

To support the operations of professional charge capture and coding, the full-time remote Coding Practice Services Manager will manage activities under the Director of Billing & Collections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while seeking process improvements and workflow efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain charge capture timelines and oversee Epic pre-AR coding and claims management
• Coach and mentor staff, ensuring ongoing training and performance reviews are completed
• Monitor compliance with governmental regulations and oversee the development of charge capture statistics and reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in multi-payer physician reimbursement
• Experience within an academic medical setting
• Preferred certification in coding and/or healthcare compliance (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS-P, CHC)
