Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Managing client service level agreement metrics, the full-time Coding Supervisor will oversee coding quality, facilitate monthly client meetings, and lead a team of coding professionals in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client service delivery metrics and ensure timely turnaround of coding issues
• Drive monthly client meetings to gather feedback and address operational concerns
• Supervise and develop a team of coding professionals, ensuring compliance with coding standards and guidelines

Required qualifications

• National coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience with both Professional and Facility coding preferred
• Ongoing CEUs to maintain coding credentials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate various EMR environments
