Job Summary
To support U.S. Department of Defense projects, the full-time Associate Cognitive Systems Engineer will analyze and optimize human-system interactions, execute cognitive task analyses, and develop decision-support architectures in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Apply Cognitive Systems Engineering methodologies to enhance workflow integration and usability across complex systems
- Conduct Cognitive Task Analysis and Knowledge Elicitation sessions to identify operational friction points
- Lead multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring technical execution and alignment with stakeholder objectives
Required qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance at the Secret level
- One year of professional experience in Cognitive Systems Engineering or a related field
- Foundational knowledge in Cognitive Systems Engineering and data collection methods
- Experience in bridging technical product development with non-technical end-users
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense and related environments is preferred
