Cognos Analytics Developer
Job Summary
To support a Federal civilian agency, the independent contractor Cognos Analytics Developer will work remotely for nine weeks, focusing on building interactive dashboards and data modules in Cognos Analytics while adhering to established design and accessibility standards.
Key responsibilities
- Build and release interactive Cognos Analytics dashboards and reports from approved design specifications
- Develop and extend data modules and Framework Manager packages, ensuring compliance with content and design standards
- Support testing, deployment, and documentation processes, including user acceptance testing and performance tuning
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of hands-on IBM Cognos Analytics development experience, with recent production work
- Experience with Framework Manager packages, relational modeling, and security filters
- Strong SQL skills, preferably with Oracle databases
- Familiarity with financial data analytics and reconciliation processes
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust background investigation
