Collection Specialist License Required

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts, the full-time Collection Specialist will perform collection activities, initiate contact with debtors, and document all interactions while working in a hybrid environment after an initial onsite training period.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate contact with debtors through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence to negotiate payment arrangements
• Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations
• Utilize skip tracing techniques to locate debtors with changed contact information

Required qualifications

• Collection Specialist License Required
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields is preferred
• 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles
• Basic computing skills
• Ability to work flexible day, evening, and weekend hours as required
