Collections Analyst
Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of claims overpayment recoveries, the full-time Collections Analyst will collaborate with management, resolve payment disputes, and identify process improvements while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with department management on goals, special projects, and information sharing
- Complete financial adjustments, investigate disputed claims, and analyze provider data
- Work directly with third-party collections agencies to recover uncollectible Provider AR
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is a plus
- 2 or more years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
- Strong technical ability to manipulate systems for reporting and analysis
- Experience in accounts receivable (AR) management is strongly desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
