Collections Analyst

Job Summary

Managing an accounts receivable portfolio of Commercial & Industrial customers, the full-time remote Collections Analyst II will resolve delinquent balances, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure compliance with company policies to minimize financial exposure.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively contact customers to secure payment of outstanding balances and manage an assigned portfolio of accounts
• Review aging receivables to identify trends and recommend appropriate actions for delinquent accounts
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing and payment disputes while documenting all customer interactions accurately

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience
• At least two years of collections experience, preferably in a commercial credit & collections environment
• Understanding of bad debt accounting and collections fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills
• Experience with CRM and billing systems for account management and documentation
