Job Summary
Managing early stage delinquent loan accounts, the full-time remote Collections Associate will provide professional and empathetic service to members, evaluate circumstances, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure timely follow-up on commitments.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and collect on assigned delinquent accounts in compliance with regulations and policies
- Contact delinquent members through various communication channels and handle inbound inquiries
- Analyze member needs and negotiate payment plans to bring accounts current
Required qualifications:
- 1+ years of related experience in collections or customer service
- Proven ability to handle difficult customer service situations professionally
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in navigating multiple software applications
