Collections Manager

Job Summary

Leading collection strategies and processes, the full-time remote Collections Manager will minimize financial loss and reduce delinquency by analyzing account trends and implementing effective collection procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute collection strategies to improve financial results and reduce bad debt
• Train and manage collection teams, ensuring performance and motivation through effective coaching
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance collection processes and resolve billing disputes

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in collections, credit, billing, or revenue operations
• 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role, including coaching and performance management
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles and applicable collection laws and regulations
• Experience managing third-party collection agencies or external vendors
