Job Summary
Contacting clients and hospitals to recover overdue payments, the full-time Collections Representative will negotiate on delinquent invoices, process insurance changes, and resolve discrepancies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Contact clients and hospitals for payment of delinquent invoices
- Process insurance changes, adjustments, and refunds
- Collaborate with various organizational levels to resolve invoice discrepancies and accounts receivable balances
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Windows
