Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support key and global client accounts, the remote Collections Specialist will manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely payment of outstanding balances while resolving payment issues and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, securing payment of outstanding balances in line with agreed credit terms
• Build effective relationships with client contacts and Accounts Payable teams to resolve payment issues and support timely collections
• Prepare collection forecasts, debtor analysis, and payment schedules, providing regular updates on performance and risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
• At least three years of relevant collections or credit control experience, with a strong focus on customer service
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment highly preferred
• Experience with Elite 3E or comparable billing software is highly preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word
