Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance the collection of overdue payments, the full-time remote Collections Specialist will resolve outstanding debts through client communication and maintain collection metrics while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Increase the collection of outstanding payments as an individual contributor in the collections process
• Identify accounts with overdue payments and develop solutions to bring loans to a current status
• Conduct outbound and inbound calls with clients to resolve debts owed

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections
• Knowledgeable in sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
• Prior telemarketing experience with financial products preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
