Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Physician Revenue Cycle, the full-time Collections Specialist will collect payments for assigned Accounts Receivable segments while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations in a telecommuting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Bill accounts electronically and manually, utilizing technology to produce clean claims
• Analyze claims processing reports and coding to ensure accurate billing and compliance with regulations
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory billing requirements and participate in educational programs to enhance skills

Required qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and collections
• Knowledge of insurance and CMS regulations
• Ability to interpret claims processing reports
• Familiarity with electronic billing systems
